District 220 Seat Decided by One Vote

Richard Burkhart is the likely winner of the third open seat on the Barrington 220 Board of Education.

The difference between winning and losing in the Barrington 220 Board of Education race has been decided by just one vote. 

Election results including provisional and absentee ballots are finally tallied in Lake, Cook, McHenry and Kane counties. Unofficial results show Richard Burkhart secured 2,421 votes, just one more than opponent Thomas Antoine. 

Brian Battle and Joseph Ruffolo received the most votes in the election and were declared winners on April 5.
