Ela First Thanks Voters for Support

Entire Ela First slate win all township positions.

The Ela First slate of candidates took all open Ela Township positions in the April 9 election. The race between Ela First and Ela Tax Reform candidates was close as precinct results came in, although some candidates including Lucy Prouty for supervisor and John Barrington for assessor maintained a strong lead throughout the evening.

After all precincts were counted, and absentee and early voting tallied, Ela First candidates had won all spots.

"The Ela First candidates would like to thank everyone for all the support throughout the campaign," John Barrington said.  "There was a lot of mixed information out there, but we have a great group of people on this board who are committed to the residents of Ela Township and look forward to continuing to serve them."
