Final Summer Concert
Head to Citizens Park for one last blast of summer Wednesday as the Barrington Park District presents its last concert in the park of the year.
The Barrington Park District’s final summer concert in the park of the season is Wednesday night. The free concert will feature Second Time Around, a classic rock band from the Northwest suburbs. They will perform classic 70s rock favorites, including music from Heart, Lynard Skynyrd and the Eagles.
The band, which started as a small group of ten friends, was influenced by classic rockers such as The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac and The Who. They have a class round sound, with no backing tracks. The show runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Citizens Park. Everyone is welcome to attend.
