Lawmakers paused to remember Rep. Mark Beaubien, Jr. at the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation's annual Legislative Breakfast.
Beaubien, 68, died this week after suffering a heart attack at Arlington Park race track. According to the Chicago Tribune, he was attending a GOP event when the incident happened. He represented the 52nd District since 1996.
Visitation for Beaubien is June 9 from 1-9 p.m. at Davenport Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. June 10 at St. Anne Church in Barrington. A private burial will follow at White Memorial Cemetery in Barrington.
