Video Gaming Presentation on Barrington’s Agenda

Committee of the Whole agenda includes discussion on budget priorities for 2014.

Village hall will be closed on Labor Day but will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Barrington’s Board of Trustees will gather for a Committee of the Whole meeting and will get a presentation on video gaming on Tuesday night.

Local business owners asked the village trustees consider allowing video gaming in businesses, which have a liquor license. The state of Illinois allows video gaming, but villages or cities must pass an ordinance allowing it as well.
