DRIVE UP AND DROP OFF: For the community:  Thursday, November 15th from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.; 450 W. Hwy 22, Barrington, IL - Parking lot behind barn  

How are the electronics recycled?

Electronics are processed through a large shredder that is 1/3 of a football field long, 2 stories high and 7 yards wide. During the shredding process the electronics are sorted into steel, aluminum, plastic and circuit boards and are sold to consumers for recycling.

Because Acme Electronic Recycling destruction process is shredding rather than dismantling, all confidential information is destroyed during our process.
