Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is offering the prestigious Future Healthcare Professionals Program to high school juniors interested in health related (non-physician) careers.
Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is offering the prestigious Future Healthcare Professionals Program to high school juniors interested in health related (non-physician) careers.
The Future Healthcare Professionals Programs offers observation experiences in hospital departments including nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapies, radiology, pharmacy, dietary, and laboratory. Additional information
includes future job outlook, education required for specific healthcare professions, and projected annual salaries. The Future Healthcare Professionals Program meets June 11 – June 29 three weeks), Monday through Friday, eight hours a day, no vacation or personal days permitted.

Eight students are selected for the Program by interview, teacher/counselor recommendation, written essay, past experiences and grade point average.

Applications are available through local high school guidance counselors and can be downloaded when visiting Good Shepherd’s website www.advocatehealth.com/gshp/FHCP. The deadline for applications is March 31.
