Assessing Your Personal Cardiac Risk

Barrington, IL—On Tuesday, February 19 from 6:30-8, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital will be hosting an event about cardiac risks. Listen to Raja Sharma, MD, board certified cardiologist as he explains the risk factors for cardiac disease and discusses a plan to help fight the condition.

 Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, one in three deaths is linked to heart disease or stroke. It is recommended that people over the age of 40, or with a strong background in early cardiovascular disease should have a routine cardiovascular assessment.

If you are interested in learning more about your personal cardiac risk do not miss out on this opportunity. This night will also include a heart age assessment by cardiac nursing staff.
