The Barrington High School Fine Arts Department presents: "Guys and Dolls" this weekend at the Barrington High School Auditorium.
The show is one of the most performed musicals in the United States, according to BroadwayMusicalHome.com. The websites describes the show as follows:
"Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest permanent floating crap game, bets Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him- this is Miss Sarah Brown of the Save-a-Soul Mission. Meanwhile, Nathan's cold wife and the main attraction at the Hot Box nightclub - Miss Adelaide, only wants to get married. In the end the gamblers and "spunky do-gooders" are thrown together."
Barrington High School's performances run Feb. 28-March 3. Thursday, Friday & Saturday's shows will be at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a 2:30 p.m. matinee offered on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available at the door.
