Barrington Principal on Paid Leave Returns to Job

At the time Countryside Elementary Principal Kimberly Foster-Thomas was placed on paid leave, District 220 Supt. Tom Leonard stated the matter was "sensitive and confidential." No additional details were shared.

Kimberly Foster-Thomas, the principal at Countryside Elementary in Barrington, has returned to her position after leaving in mid-December on paid leave as District 220 worked to "resolve a confidential personnel issue that did not concern any parent or student or require a police investigation," according to the Daily Herald

Foster-Thomas, who is in her fourth year as a principal at Countryside School, is returning with the "full confidence and support" of the district, according to the article.
