Barrington Varsity Cheerleaders Take Historic Second at State

The BHS Varsity Cheerleading Squad won 2nd Place in the Co-Ed Division at the State Finals over the weekend.

Barrington High School will hold an assembly at 2:15 p.m., Tuesday, to honor the Varsity Co-Ed Cheerleading Squad who won 2nd place in the Co-Ed Division, at the State Finals in Bloomington, this past weekend. 

The assembly will honor the team and their coaches, Laura Meehan, Caroline Milne, Jason Pike, Lindsey O'Keefe, and Katherine Loberg.

Rich Central from Olympia Fields took first place at the finals with a total score of 91.0, according to the IHSA website. Barrington was a close second with a total score of 89.06 and no deductions.
