The overnight snowfall has left roads slick and forced some businesses and schools to open late or close for the day.
All three campuses at Harper College in Palatine are closed today, according to the Emergency Closing Center website. And while students are still on break at Barrington School District 220, all of the district's buildings are closed Thursday to employees and all co-corricular events and athletic practices are cancelled until further notice, according to the District 220 website.
In addition, BAE Credit Union in Barrington will be opening late on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., according to the ECC website.
