Duffy Endorses Farley for D220 School Board

Senator Dan Duffy said Farley's professional experience will "serve the District 220 School Board well."

 

Wendy Farley, candidate for has received the endorsement of Senator Dan Duffy (R – Lake Barrington).  Senator Duffy has represented the Barrington area, including a majority of District 220 residents since 2008. 

“Wendy Farley’s experience as an attorney and government affairs professional will serve the District 220 School Board well. I admire Wendy’s dedication to maintaining a balanced budget while continuing to provide an excellent level of education to students in District 220,” said Senator Duffy. “I look forward to working with Wendy Farley as a member of the District 220 School Board to ensure our students have the resources they need to succeed.”

“I look forward to working with Senator Duffy,” said Wendy Farley, upon accepting his endorsement. “Senator Duffy is committed to improving the financial health of our state.  Like me, he does not believe the answer to the state’s financial crisis is to push the state’s financial problems to local school boards. I am honored to receive Senator Duffy’s endorsement.” 

Wendy Farley is a candidate in the District 220 School Board election.  The election will be held on Tuesday, April 9.  Early voting will be held March 25 to April 6.
