The Uniqueness of Science Teaching in the Waldorf School

Join Chicago Waldorf High School science teacher, Brian Glykoff, and Water’s Edge Waldorf School’s Grade 7/8 teacher, Kathy Matlin, as they discuss the unique approach Waldorf education takes in the teaching of science.  What is a “phenomenological approach” to teaching science?  Why wait until adolescence to bring certain material? Come learn more about how this approach meets the developing child and provides a strong foundation in the sciences.

This discussion is open to the public and is free of charge. Pre-registration is required.  Call (847) 526-1372 to reserve your place.  This is an adult-only event.
