It's a 3-peat for Station Scholastic Bowl Team

Barrington Middle School Station finished the season winning the state championships.

The Station Campus scholastic team completed its quest for a triple crown by winning the IESA Class AA Scholastic Bowl State Championships, defeating Homewood Hart 315-235, Effingham 310-135, and Jacksonville Turner 320-140 in pool play, before vanquishing Bloomington, 310-155 in the championship game, according to Barrington 220 Facebook page. Station's scholastic team now lays claim to a state championship (IESA), a national championship (NAQT) and an international championship (Fall Knowledge Masters Open). They close their 2013 season with a record of 69-1.

"This team is truly special . . .  The team finished with a 69-1 record and as a parent of one of the team members I could not be prouder of the team members and their coach, Jeff Price." Ed Chmiel said in an email to Barrington Patch.
