“I’m excited about getting to know all of the friendly faces…I love the idea of a K-12 district relationship where there are many opportunities available,” she said. “I look forward to getting to know the community and the kids.”
Robynne Ross-Green is a new hire in Barrington 220 School District in the Special Services Department. Ross-Green will be a Vocational Coordinator in the LIFECO Program this year.
The LIFECO Program is a unique service offered by District 220 designed for students who need life skills support for people 18 through 22 years old. The program teaches skills like budgeting cooking, cleaning and personal care. Students enrolled also receive vocational training at job sites in nearby towns.
“I’m really looking forward to being part of this program. Seeing how it works, getting kids involved and helping them start their lives as they exit,” Ross-Green said.
