Surprise Prom Proposal Video Goes Viral on Facebook
The video posted on Barrington 220's Facebook page has more than 300 Facebook "likes".
Barrington High School student Catherine Goetze received quite a surprise in her Spanish class last week, and it was all captured on video.
Goetze was greeted at the entrance of her classroom with a musical act by several students including senior Nick Kosarek. Kosarek arranged the surprise as his way to ask Goetze to prom. After the music ended, Kosarek handed Goetze flowers and asked her to prom, to which she replied, “Si!”

The video has been popular on the school district’s Facebook page, receiving more than 300 “likes” and nearly 30 “shares” so far.
