Barrington Broncos Wrestling Club Has Solid State Performance

Congratulations to the team who placed 17th overall in the state.

The Barrington Broncos Wrestling Club (BBWC) had a great weekend at the State Championships in Rockford last weekend, March 9 and 10. 

All six state qualifiers had record breaking performances. The team also had five individual place winners and a 12th place team finish in the novice division out of 191 teams. 

The BBWC placed 17th overall as a team which combined novice and senior wrestlers. Peter Golec was one match away from placing at 89 lbs. novice division, but helped contribute to team points.

  • Jake Cysewski, 7th place, 89 lbs., Novice
  • Johnny Davidson, 5th place, 138 lbs., Senior

  • Markus Hartman, 3rd place 79 lbs., Novice
