Barrington Wrestlers to Compete at Lake Zurich Saturday
The team will take on Buffalo Grove, Cary-Grove, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Palatine and Stevenson.
The Barrington High School wrestling squad will compete in a very important meet at Lake Zurich on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Barrington next weekend, and the team champion will head to the dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports. Barrington will face off against Buffalo Grove, Cary-Grove, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Palatine and Stevenson.
The Daily Herald reports Kevin Conrad in the 132-weight class and Ben Calamari in the 285-weight class are two Barrington wrestlers to watch.

The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington.
The Feb. 2 meet starts at 9 a.m.
