Chicago Bears Youth Football Camp Comes to Barrington

The football camp will take place at Barbara Rose School from July 15-19.

With former Chicago Bears like Desmond Clark, Allan Ellis, Kris Haines, Al Harris, Jim Morrissey and Mickey Pruitt providing support, Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps will return this summer to 18 northern Illinois locations, including a camp in Barrington, at Barbara Rose Elementary School, Monday - Friday, July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps provide non-contact instruction to kids from ages 6 to 14 years old. Led by professional coaches and Chicago Bears Heroes, kids learn to run, throw, catch, defend and compete the Chicago Bears way. Through safe, non-contact instruction, the program develops athletic skills and life skills through football. Special features include three Chicago Bear Heroes per camp, the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition and Championship Friday. Awards and prizes are given out during the week, including the prestigious Leadership Awards and a replica Chicago Bears helmet to a lucky winner.

There are three program options. The Comprehensive Skills Camp is for newcomers ages 6-14 that want to give it a try. The Accelerated Skills Camp is for league experienced players ages 9-14.This is an "advanced class room" within the Comprehensive Skills Camps. Private or Small Group Instruction students receive position-specific football training from an expert coach.
