Assistant varsity baseball coach Tim Rife will be honored at the Barrington High School Baseball Booster Club banquet fundraiser March 14.
Rife, a 1974 BHS graduate, will be recognized for his many years of services to the BHS baseball program. He received the 2013 Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Assistant Coach of the Year award.
"There is no one more deserving of this honor than Coach Rife," said booster club president John Sciaccotta. "He has made a positive impact on and off the field to hundreds of young men who have gone through the baseball program. His commitment to BHS baseball has been unsurpassed."
The banquet is the major annual fundraiser for the baseball booster group. All proceeds from the event will go toward field renovations and upgrades, as well as equipment and training needs.
In addition to the recognition program, the night will include a live and silent auction and music from the band Alex and the All Stars.Banquet Details
