Check Your Alignment

Transformotion hosts two great workshops “designed to align.” Align for Motion (10 a.m.-noon) shows participants how to use proper posture to gain trunk mobility and arm- and-shoulder range of motion. Great for everyone, including post-acute rotator-cuff-surgery and breast-cancer patients. Align for Stability (1-3 p.m.) focuses on strengthening the hips and keeping them flexible. Special conditions, such as arthritis and sciatica pain, will be addressed. Appropriate for all levels. Presented by pilates educator and physical therapist Katherine Howe. Price is $60 for one or $100 for both.
