Barrington Park District’s Summer Concert features Second Time Around, a northwest suburban rock band that has a ‘70s classic rock sound.
Second Time Around will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at Citizens Park, 511 Lake Zurich Road.

The band, from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, began as a small group of 10 friends performing the classic rock they grew up with and love. The band counts the Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac and The Who as major influences. The bans’ goal is to echo the music of the original artist with energy and precision, according to a release on the park district’s website.
Some songs from the band’s playlist includes hits by the Eagles, Boston, Heart and Lynard Skynyrd.
