Barrington’s Americana Fourth of July Parade

Nothing says Americana like a Fourth of July parade and Barrington’s parade is a grand one.

The Barrington Fourth of July celebration, including the parade, is 100 percent volunteer led. The area’s service organizations involved include the Noon Rotary Club of Barrington, the Barrington Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club of Barrington.

While the parade is a fun, annual tradition, it also serves as a way to help others. Organizers remind families attending to bring a nonperishable food item to the parade where items will be collected throughout the route then donated to a local pantry.
