Do you ever feel like you really want to take that leap and start exercising regularly and eating healthier foods but just can't seem to find the time or the energy to get started? I know that I often feel that way! I encourage my children to stay active, make healthy food choices, get lots of sleep and although it often feels like a battle, generally they do a pretty good job. I on the other hand don't always take my own advice. Everyday life always seems to get in the way of getting started on my journey to healthier living.
As a member of the "over 40" group, shh... I recognize that it seems to be much more difficult to maintain the shape I had 20 years ago, imagine that! I know there are plenty of other people out there that feel the same way. We have the best intentions of going to the gym, walking or taking a class, but then we don't find or make the time. I am challenging you to join me at the Lake Barrington Field House for the 30 day challenge to healthier living and the opportunity to share your achievements with others just like us. This challenge is not for the everyday gym fanatic, it's for those of us that wish we were!
This is a great opportunity to kick start and take that leap you have been wanting to take for so long! The best part of the program is the supportive group instruction, it's a lot easier to get motivated with a friend along your side! We can share stories, make new friends and work out in a safe learning environment where we will be challenged to eat healthy and exercise for the next 30 days. Who knows what the results will bring? I'm hoping for renewed energy, restful sleep and perhaps even a smaller dress size!
