Barrington Area United Way Seeks New Volunteers and Members

The BAUW is one of the few United Way agencies that is 100 percent local, focusing on issues directly affecting the greater Barrington community.

A membership kick-off will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22.

If you live, work or play in the greater Barrington/District 220 community and would enjoy taking a greater role in supporting the community, consider supporting the Barrington Area United Way as a volunteer Friend of BAUW or a member of the board of directors.

Learn more at the "Power of the Purse" membership kick-off reception at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22. This is a free event, but registration is required.

The BAUW is one of the few 100 percent local United Way agencies in the Chicagoland area, meaning all efforts are focused on meeting the health and human services needs right in the community.
