Barrington Relay for Life to Hold FIrst Team Meeting

Barrington Relay for Life will hold the first team meeting, Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., at - GRC room. Teams can get signed up or sign up on the Relay for Life Barrington website.

Highlights of the meeting are:

• The first 20 teams to show up will receive some purple RFL wristbands for their team.
• Wickstrom Auto Group will be there with their Purple RFL Jeep.
• Learn about the Cake Contest.
• Details on the dance explosion.
• Details on the Duchossois $100,000 matching program.

Amy and Richard Wickstrom of the Wickstrom Auto Group will debut the attractive purple wrapped Jeep on Monday, Feb. 27th at 2 p.m.  along with their Spanish inspired RFL "Follow us to a world with more Birthdays" paper dress designed by three students from the BHS Fashion Design class.  The Wickstrom Auto Group is the Honorary Chair and Premier Sponsor for the June 8 RFL of Barrington. 

 The Jeep will make the first official RFL appearance at the RFL team meeting in the front entrance parking lot.  The purple Jeep arrives at 6:30 p.m. and will be finding its way around Barrington at meetings and other "Purple Heals" events for the next three months until June 8 when it arrives at Barrington Community Stadium for the huge event.
