This brand new Barrington facility provides youth and adult hospice and palliative care, free bereavement services, veteran's care and more.
The Barrington chapter of this well known charity focuses on the needs of the community. Volunteers raise money to support more than 45 programs in the area.
This service agency provides free counseling and youth outreach programming to children and their families in the Barrington 220 School District.
The educational vegetable gardening group donates 100 percent of its harvest to local food pantries. Volunteers also educate people about sustainable agriculture.
5. Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection Society
Founded in 2001, HARPS is dedicated to rescuing abused or neglected hooved animals. Located in Barrington Hills, adoptions are also possible for some rehabilitated animals.
