Pom Pon Performance Encourages Food Pantry Donations
"Pack the Pantry, Rock the House" a lively evening of entertainment and community support.
Tuesday's performance at the Lake Barrington Field House, entitled Pack the Pantry and Rock the House, brought in local fans of the Premier Poms Experience group bearing non-perishable food items for the Cuba Township Food Pantry.
"These girls are all about competing in their sport while caring about others," said Michele Wuertz, director of the organization. "Premier Poms Experience is a proud winner of one of the Barrington Area's Character Counts awards."
The girls will perform at the Chicago Bulls game when the Bulls meet the Orlando Magic on March 8 at The United Center.
