VIDEO: Barrington Honor Ride and Run Draws Crowds

The first Barrington Honor Ride and Run kicked off on Oct. 23 in downtown Barrington.

It was a gorgeous day on Oct. 23 for the first ever .

Hundreds flocked to downtown Barrington to participate in and watch the 30 mile bike ride, 5k and 10k run. Proceeds from the 30 mile ride will benefit  Ride2Recovery, which services wounded warriors through cycling rehabilitation programs, going so far as to present the warrior with bicycles custom-made for their disability.

Money raised from the 5 and 10 kilometer run will be donated to Operation Homefront of Illinois, which provides immediate financial assistance and other support services to our active military and wounded warriors returning to civilian life.
