This Week in Barrington: Video Gaming Front and Center at Village Board Meeting

Board of Trustees will hear how residents feel about the idea.

Some Illinois cities and villages were quick to jump on the video gaming bandwagon, amending local ordinances to allow video gaming as soon as the Illinois Gaming Board set up guidelines.

The village of Barrington was not one of those towns. But, it now faces the question of whether video gaming should be allowed in restaurants and bars that have a liquor license.

Local restaurant owners are asking the village to allow video gaming.
