A Barrington institution and rightfully so. The owners are the loveliest, friendliest people and that goes a long way with our family. No, the food is not cutting edge, ambitious cuisine. It is simple and delicious and perfect for Sunday breakfast/lunch with family and friends. The lively after-church crowds on Sunday can make it noisy and crowded, but that just adds to the sense that this is the place to be. I love the chicken julienne salad, the skillets are great as are any of the chicken sandwiches. Waitresses are sweet and funny and will fuss over you like an old friend after a few visits. Long live the Bread Basket!
