First Town Hall Meeting Held For District 220
Interested residents met at the Barrington High School auditorium last night to hear from the board of education and school district administrators.
The first-ever Town Hall Meeting for Barrington Community Unit School District 220 was held last night at Barrington High School. The forum began with a brief introduction from Superintendent, Dr. Tom Leonard. Dr. Leonard told the crowd that the Town Hall Meeting had been in the works for several months. "It has been a desire of this board and the community to hold this type of open forum for quite a while," he said. The meeting was broken up into four key areas: Financial Climate, Physical Climate, Instructional Climate and Social-Emotional Climate.
