Beaded Elements Owner Has a Passion For Doll Dresses
The owner of Beaded Elements is known for her exquisite jewelry making, but her passion shines in the beaded Barbie doll dresses she creates.
Julie Antonucci still enjoys dressing up her Barbie dolls. But her dolls' wardrobes are anything but ordinary. "This one is priceless," Antonucci said as she pointed to her Cleopatra doll and the antique plaques which adorn the completely beaded dress draping the figurine. The entire garment is made of out of dozens of tiny gold plated beads and genuine Egyptian stones such as lapis lazuli and turquoise. This is just one of several of Antonucci's award winning doll designs which have been featured in eight different publications including Barbie Bazaar magazine and Fire Mountain Gems and Beads advertising.
