Free Smoothies for National Flip Flop Day
Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be giving away free Jetty Punch smoothies between 2 and 7 p.m.
The third Friday in June is a national holiday for Tropical Smoothie Cafe -- National Flip Flop Day! June 15 marks the restaurant chain's National Flip Flop Day, which was started to thank customers for being loyal to the brand. Those who head to the Barrington location between 2 and 7 p.m. wearing flip flops will receive a free 24 ounce Jetty Punch smoothie. National Flip Flop Day isn't just about saying thank you anymore. The occasion is also about raising awareness and funds for Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Maine for children with life threatening diseases and their families. Those who would like to donate to the cause will be able to do so at Tropical Smoothie Cafe or online.
