Both Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams Finish 8th at State

Both Barrington cross county teams finished 8th in the class 3A IHSA State Meet at Detweiller Park in downstate Peoria on Saturday, and each team had top ten finishers from powerful individual efforts from underclassmen. The Fillies sophomore Rebecca Betliner finished 8th with an individual time of 17:03 while Broncos junior runner Erik Peterson finished 6th with a time of 14:33. Fillies Cross Country The Fillies also took 8th at the class 3A state finals in Peoria and took a similar path as the boys to get to the state meet.
