A three-way race is brewing in the 52nd House District. Incumbent Kent Gaffney and contenders David McSweeney and Danielle Rowe are all vying to represent the Republican Party in the November election. (57/57 precincts reporting) 11:03 P.M. Results do not include provisional and late absentee ballots but do include write-in candidates. Rep. Gaffney was appointed to fill the remaining term of Mark Beaubien Jr., who died June 5, 2011. The 52nd district has a wide reach, representing parts of Lake, Cook and Kane counties, which includes parts of Cary, Algonquin and Lake in the Hills. The Illinois Conservatives announced their latest endorsement for the 2012 elections today: Danielle Rowe, tea party conservative Republican for the 52nd State Representative District. Danielle Rowe is a marketing executive, an unstoppable tea party activist, a key volunteer supporting the men and women in our armed forces and a respected conservative leader. The Illinois Conservatives believe Rowe has the background necessary to fight the political establishment in Springfield and help bring a revolution to Illinois. During this week’s State of the State address, Governor Quinn pushed his message that “Illinois is Moving Forward,” but Danielle Rowe, the Illinois Tea Party endorsed candidate and only consistent conservative running for State Representative in the 52nd District, is pushing back. Rowe recognizes the devastating affects Pat Quinn and Mike Madigan’s policies have had on the hardworking families of the 52nd District. “Illinois is not moving forward.
