MLK Had a Dream; What's Yours?

Martin Luther King's famous 'I Have a Dream' speech inspired many to think about injustice and how they might help combat it. Patch wants to know what your dream is for a better world.

Fifty years ago, Martin Luther King delivered his rousing "I Have a Dream" speech to a crowd of 250,000 in front of the Lincoln Memorial after leading a peaceful demonstration in Washington, D.C. "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,' King said on Aug. 28, 1963. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.? Advertisers use words to influence.

Marketing is all about positioning.  What is your place in the market?  What are the key messages?  Are you positioned to reach your target?  What are our customers saying?  What is our competition touting?  How can we spin the message?  Ultimately, it all comes down to words.  Advertisers use all kinds of words to evoke certain feelings and responses.  Some times, we are just trying to build up positive feelings about the brand.  Other times, most of the time, we want you to get up, drive to the store and buy the product, right now.
