Duffy Endorses Farley for D220 School Board

Sauer Resigns from School Board, New Member Sought

Sauer resigned after being elected to the Lake County Board. A new member will be appointed to serve until the term ends in 2013.

  The Barrington 220 Board of Education expressed gratitude to Nick Sauer, who has served on the board since his election in the spring of 2009. Sauer resigned his seat on the Board of Education effective Nov. 14 following his successful election to the Lake County Board of Commissioners, serving District 17. President Brian Battle and his board colleagues commended Sauer for his dedicated representation of students, staff and residents during his productive tenure in Barrington 220.  Sauer, who is also a graduate of Barrington High School, reflected on his long association with the school district, crediting his formative years as both a student and a leader with preparing him for the next chapter in his public service career.
