Dr Kiran Frey, Neighbor

Kiran Frey is a Board Certified Psychiatrist as well as a Board Certified Forensic Psychiatrist. She works as a Psychiatrist in the northwest area.

She became involved with developing chess in the northwest suburban Chicago area after her son Rishi Sethi started a chess program at Grove Avenue Elementary School in District 220. The program became successful attracting 2008 US Chess Champion GM Yury Shulman. After a non profit program called Chess Without Borders was created Kiran Frey continued to help students create and implement social entrepreneurial projects. Her son provides technical help for many of the projects enabling the program to donate over $116,000 to various local and global charities. The program has won many awards and honors producing 3 videos documenting the efforts of volunteers and the community. Rishi Sethi is a CEO of Method Mill in NY and says' " the social entrepreneurship helped me as I formed my company as a Data Analyst and entrepreneur."
