GraceAnn Walden wasn't much interested in anything until she got into cooking (restaurants and catering) and later food writing. In 1989, she created the Inside Scoop, a restaurant news column with a sense of humor, for the San Francisco Chronicle. She also wrote for the Wine Spectator and Sunset magazines. In 2007, she edited and wrote a cookbook, "86 Recipes San Francisco." Today, the Novato resident appears regularly on KGO-AM 810 radio with host Ronn Owens to talk about restaurants. When she isn't conducting her Saturday gourmet walking tours, she tries to lure more restaurants to Novato as a contracted recruiter. She launched her bi-weekly newsletter about food, the Yummy Report, in 2009. Check out more on her website.
