Hi Dan, I just got another note from my neighbor TODAY stating this: "couple of incidents that happened recently on MacBain Way. A homeowner who lives on the west side of the street, had someone knock on their front door at 10:45 at night. There was a woman at the door screaming for help saying that her husband had been beating her. The home owner noticed that there were 3 guys off to the side so she did not answer the door and instead called the police. The police said that there have been a few incidents like this lately in Inverness, one on Aberdeen. If the door is opened, the guys rush in and grab anything that they can get. "

The police are aware of this, Barrington and State Troopers. Barrington now has an automated information line which you can sign up for. They call you directly with an announcement right to your cell phone. It is really a great program. We are in a section that is covered by State Troopers. If they see you out side, they roll down their windows to initiate conversation. They really keep us informed on what's happening which we all appreciate. Great group of officers!
