Open to all parents in Barrington 220. Learn how social media fits into the daily lives of tweens and teens, both during and after school. Hear about new trends in social media, including Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Pintrest, etc. We'll also provide an interactive student perspective and hear from middle and high schoolers how they use social media. As a bonus, learn some tips from the police liaison officer at BHS on some of the dangers of social media and how to help your child manage what can become a risky means of communication.
