BJWC Fashion Show Raises More than $60K for Charity

Cheers to the Barrington Junior Women's Club, whose fall fundraiser on Nov. 9 raised more than $60,000 for local grants, high school scholarships and charities.

More than 400 women said "Oui! Oui" to attending the Barrington Junior Women's Club's Paris-themed fall fundraiser, which featured a fashion show, French market, lunch and live and silent auctions that raised more than $60,000 for local causes.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of shopping the boutiques of more than 25 local retailers and vendors, and bidding on more than 300 silent auction baskets. 

The seven fabulous live auctions featured: a trip to Turks & Caicos with two first class plane tickets; a fur from York Furrier; a pearl / diamond ring from Long & Co. Jewelers; free Jimmy Johns for one year; a private French dining experience for eight at L'Eiffel Bistro in South Barrington; a Teen/Tween party package; and a downtown Chicago weekend getaway package.

The fashion show was produced by Zzazz Productions and emceed by celebrity chef, Jaime Laurita.
