According to the Lake County Sheriff's Department Facebook page, Brandon Baranowski has returned home safely.
"Missing juvenile Brandon Baranowski was returned safely home to his family this evening. Thank you to all who shared!"
The news was confirmed by Baranowski's sister, Samantha Raucci on the Barrington High School Alumni Facebook page.
"Thank you all for helping us to find Brandon. He has been safely returned home to us. An anonymous tip led us to his location. Previous assumptions were correct about who knew of his whereabouts. Again, thanks to all who shared my post and helped us get the word out there," Raucci's post read.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old Barrington teen last seen Friday.
Brandon Baranowski, of the 2600 block of Indian Trail, was reported missing at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24. “We are actively investigating the case,” Sheriff’s deputy Sgt. Sara Balnes said.
Baranowski was last seen when a friend dropped him off near some woods, according to his sister, who posted information on Facebook asking for help in finding her brother.
"Barrington friends, my little brother has been missing since last week and his friends are not being helpful," his sister wrote on Facebook. "He is 17-years old, Brandon Baranowski, and was last seen on Friday and has not been heard from since. Please help me and my family find him, we just want him home safe. Thank you."
Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s criminal investigation unit at 847-377-4250, Bales said.
