How to Enjoy the Snow in Barrington
With plenty of the "white stuff" blanketing the Barrington area, this weekend will be the perfect time to get out and enjoy some winter recreation.
Looking for ways to enjoy all that fresh snow?
Grassy Lake Forest Preserve in Lake Barrington offers cross-country skiing. Park at the Lake Barrington Village Hall, located on Old Barrington Road off of Kelsey Road and southwest of Miller Road.
Enjoy more cross-country skiing at Ron Beese Park, Langendorf Park and Citizens Park in Barrington.
Feel like going sledding? Check out our map of local sledding hills. Did you know there's also a new sled hill at Freier Farm, a little north across from Harbor Drive on Kelsey Road, in Lake Barrington?
